Information for UIC Cancer Researchers

The University of Illinois at Chicago Cancer Center is organized into four thematic research programs.  This grouping reflects the research and clinical strengths of over 100 faculty members from many different disciplines.     
 

Membership in the Cancer Center is open to all UIC faculty members who have a cancer research interest and have a commitment to work together to further the goals of the UIC Cancer Center.  An online membership application form is now available. 

 
Cancer Center members have access to four shares research facilities supported by the UIC Cancer Center:
  • Data Analysis and Methods Shared Resource (Biostatistics)
  • Biospecimen Shared Resource (Tissue Bank)
  • Research Histology Services Shared Resource
  • Protocol Review Committee (CC-PRC)

 

Additional shared research facilities will be established based on needs identified by members of thematic research programs.
